Kasia: Ballet in the City

Ballet.

What a beautiful form of dance. Something so intricate and complex that it takes form as both delicate and powerful. I have always been intrigued by this art of dance and admire the beauty and strength of those who practice it.

I got in touch with Kasia and wanted to photograph her doing some ballet poses, but not in the traditional studio/stage shoot. I wanted to bring her out and merge it a bit with the urban landscapes of Vancouver.

I think it turned out pretty well! I hope you guys enjoy this photo series.
